At HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) 2019, attendees could stop by the American Medical Association booth to get creative with color.
2. Get artsy
Partnering with an artist can inspire conferences attendees — and even you — to see your brand in a new light.
LRS Output Management has been showing off ice sculptures across several conferences. At HIMSS 2018, they showed off a different sculpture each day.
Epic had a banana sculpture attendees were welcome to hop on for a photo. Questionable? Yes. Memorable? Definitely.

3. Instead of giving out swag, give back
Connect your brand to a good cause and leave conference attendees with a positive impression.
Cardinal Health had attendees create blankets for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Connection IT ended one conference with 500 bags to donate to local hospitals, where they were given to children receiving care.
Optum booth visitors biked in full business casual for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
4. Create a getaway
Make your booth an oasis that encourages attendees to stick around longer.
Intermountain Healthcare displayed projection mapping to create an Instagram-worthy experience.
Salesforce’s outdoorsy theme harkened back to summer camp.
Howard Medical took a retro spin by making their booth a diner.

When you’ve spent time differentiating your brand via design, show off the design risks you’ve taken in your conference booth.
In a sea of bland blues and whites, PRA Health Sciences’ bright pink was easy to spot.
